It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nata Milvain on June 16, 2015 at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre at the age of 89 years. She left this world surrounded by her loving family.
Natalie Annette Milvain was born on October 1, 1925 to proud parents Rosie and Joseph Coccioloni in Coleman, AB. Along with her siblings, she was raised to appreciate life’s many blessing and to never take anything, or anyone, for granted. When Nata met Charles “Doodles” Milvain, she met her soul mate. Never was there a more perfect couple! The two married and proceeded to start a family of their own. Together, they raised three wonderful children in a home filled with joy and love.
Nata was a caregiver and a gracious hostess who took care of everyone who crossed her path. Whether you were a family member, a friend or a workman plowing her road, you were always welcome in Nata’s home and you never left hungry! Her kind, generous spirit inspired her to volunteer much of her time at the Pincher Creek extended care facility where she brought cheer to the residents for many years. When not happily preparing meals or taking care of someone, Nata also found great pleasure in tending to her huge gardens and walking the magnificent hills surrounding her home with Benji.
When one thinks of Nata, they think of her unparalleled ability to love and, of course, her unparalleled style and grace. She was truly beautiful both inside and out.

Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her children, Lee (Keith) Milvain of North Burmis, AB, James (Lois) Milvain of Montreal, QC & Gina (Bear) Funfer of Kelowna, BC; her step-son, Mike (Junia) Milvain of St. Petersburg, FL; her grandchildren, Jen Milvain, Dan (Aya) Milvain & Danielle Atcheson; her sister, Rose Coccioloni of Coleman, AB; her brother, Joey Coccioloni of Pincher Creek, AB; her canine companion, Jazzy; as well her extended family and countless friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles “Doodles” Milvain; her parents, Rosie & Joseph Coccioloni; her brothers, Danny, Frankie, Tony & Harry Coccioloni; her infant sister; and her sisters, Josie Scodellaro, Esther Morgan & Frena Langille.
A Private Family Visitation took place at Fantin’s Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cowley Community & District Hall on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca. Donations in memory of Nata will be gratefully accepted by the CNP Health Foundation (P. O.
