Marie Rose (Tardif) Babin

   There is an aroma of fresh baked bread wafting from Heaven today as we say good-bye to Marie Babin.  She passed away peacefully at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre in Blairmore, AB on May 16, 2016 at the glorious age of 94 years.

   Mom always put her family first.  She enjoyed time spent with all and was very sociable.  She worked tirelessly in her garden and her kitchen to provide for all who came by.  At those family gatherings, she would play her organ and Hawaiian guitar, and sing and dance.  Her zest for life and kind, gracious spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

   Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her children, Helene (Elmer), Norman (Rosalee), Edmond (Joanne), Denis (Terry) and Florence (Guy); her brother, Rosaire (Lena); her sisters-in-law, Louise and Carol; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as the many friends she made throughout her life.

   She will join in Heaven her husband, Hubert; her sons, Alphonse and Marcel; her parents, Alphonse and Leotine Tardif; and six siblings.

  A Graveside Service will be held at the Passburg Cemetery on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 1:00pm with Rev. Renso Castellarin presiding.  Donations in memory of Marie will be gratefully accepted by the York Creek Lodge Residents Association (P. O.
