   It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Rose Osadan of Blairmore, Alberta, who passed away peacefully on May 22, 2016 at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta at the age of 73 years with her family providing care and comfort.

   Margaret Rose Squarek was born on October 27,1942 in Hillcrest, Alberta to proud parents, Nick and Margaret Squarek.  She grew into a beautiful young woman who drew the attentions of a handsome and dashing young man, John Osadan.  The happy couple courted for many years and wed on June 21, 1969.  They lived in Hillcrest, Alberta for a short time until making Blairmore their forever home and raised two daughters who they cherished dearly. Margaret’s greatest joys in life were spending time with her family and friends; she loved nothing more than watching her children and only grandson grow and develop into her pride and joys. She cherished her time watching her grandson at school and sporting activities. In her younger years, Margaret enjoyed gardening, cooking great meals and camping with family. She enjoyed many years working with AGT and Telus as a Telephone Operator and Supervisor until her well-deserved retirement. During those golden years, she spent countless hours playing computer games while listening to the many curling and hockey games on TV.  The unquestioned matriarch of our clan and the most independent, resourceful and determined lady known to us, Margaret treasured her time spent with family and friends and she will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

   Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life include her loving daughters, Sheryl (Trevor) Brazzoni of Hillcrest and Shelly (Tj) Barlow of Hillcrest; her cherished and only grandson, Brandan Brazzoni; her twin brother, Nick (Lois) Squarek of Hillcrest; her sister and caregiver, Florence Squarek of Blairmore; her brother-in-law, Steve(Kathy) Osadan; her sisters-in-law, Carol Osadan and Midge Mcintyre; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members as well as the many friends that she made throughout her lifetime.

   Margaret was predeceased by her parents Nick and Margaret Squarek; her husband, John Osadan; her brothers, Robert (Doreen) Squarek and Steve Squarek; her father-in-law, Martin Osadan; her mother-in-law, Annie Osadan; her sisters-in-law, Kathy (Leon) Grosso and Vern (Frank) Edl; and her brothers-in-law, Martin Osadan and Joe Osadan.

   At the request of the family, there will be no funeral services held.  Donations in memory of the late Margaret Osadan will be gratefully accepted towards the Alberta Heart & Stroke Fdn (Box 2211 Lethbridge, AB T1J 4K7) or to the Arthritis Society (200, 1301-8 Street SW, Calgary, AB T2R 1A9).
