It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jeffrey Daniel Lauer of Coleman, Alberta, who passed away on May 22, 2016 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 49 years.
Jeff was born October 30, 1966 in MooseJaw, Saskatchewan to parents Wilma Grace Lauer and Daniel Lauer. A devoted son, loving father and cherished brother as well as a friend to many, he will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
He is survived by his mother, Wilma Grace Lauer of Glenwood; his father, Bill Van Buskirk Sr. of Coleman; his sons, Matthew Lauer and Dennis Lauer of Coleman; his siblings, Laura Lee Lauer of Glenwood, Bill Van Buskirk Jr. of Lethbridge and Barbara Gosselin of Willow Bunch, SK; his former spouse, Raelene Joinson of Coleman; his biological father, Daniel Lauer of Hope, BC; and his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that he made throughout his lifetime.
The Ceremony honouring Jeff’s life will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 12 noon at the 386-4 Avenue North, Glenwood, Alberta.
