Ernest "Ernie" Charles Wilson

  Ernest Charles Wilson, age 72 passed away Monday December 18th,  2017 at  the Chinook Reginal Hospital in Lethbridge Alberta. Ernie was born on March 10th,  1945 at  St.  Michaels Hospital in Lethbridge Alberta.
Ernie resided in Lethbridge and small  towns and cities in and around southern Alberta for some years until his job took him to Edmonton, but Ernie couldn’t stay away from the pull  of  the
Southern Alberta Rockies. He returned to Southern Alberta, residing in Lundbreck Alberta until his passing. Ernie had a love of fishing that he passed down to his kids and grandkids, he had a passion for woodworking just like his father. He spent many hours away from home fishing in his favorite fishing spot and just as many hours in his wood shop.
  Ernie was predeceased by his Father (Theodore Wilson) his Mother (Pauline Wilson) his Brothers (David Gary Wilson) and (Thomas Wilson).  Ernie is survived by his wife Donna Wilson of 31 years, his sons Kirk Wilson (Geraldine Limb), Anthony Wilson, Ernie Wilson (Lisa Wilson), Troy Stronski  and daughter  Tina Statham (Dennis Statham) step-daughter Cathy Baker and foster  son Keith Hope,  5 grandsons Michael Wilson, Tyler Statham, Tanner Statham, Carter Statham and Liam Wilson. Ernie is also survived by 3 brothers Ronald Wilson (Nettie) Walter Wilson and sister in-law Beth Wilson (Thomas Wilson - predeceased) Donald Wilson (Evelyn) and many nieces and nephews.
  There will  be a family only Celebration of Life in the New Year, details to follow. The family would like to extend a Thank you to Walter Wilson and Tom Baker for your help over the past few weeks. On behalf of our family we would like to thank the staff in the ICU at  the Chinook Reginal Hospital  for  their  care and compassion of  our  Father.
