Welcome to the memorial page for

Americo Brazzoni

November 7, 1921 ~ January 30, 2017 (age 95) 95 Years Old

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Americo Brazzoni on January 30, 2017 at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre.  He was blessed with 95 years of life.

Americo “Cody” Brazzoni was born in Bellevue, AB on November 7, 1921 to loving parents Arturo and Ida Brazzoni.  As a young man, he fell in love with Alberta Grosso, and the happy couple married on April 10, 1950.  They went on to be blessed with two wonderful children and to create countless beautiful memories.

Americo was famous for his gorgeous garden, and he spent many contented hours working in it.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a talented taxidermist and maker of incredible hand carved wooden fish.  With his family was where Americo found his greatest joy and he treasured every moment spent with them.  He was a kind, patient man who will be forever remembered and forever loved.

Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life is his devoted grandson, Cody (Rose) Fincaryk of Burmis, AB; and his cherished great grandchildren, Dante, Mya and Tazio Fincaryk.

He was predeceased by his wife Alberta; his parents, Arturo and Ida; his son, Colin; his daughter, Christine; and his grandson, Kyle.

With respect for Americo’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the Crowsnest Pass Health Foundation “Long Term Care Program” (P. O. Box 455, Blairmore, AB T0K 0E0).  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
